Porcelain Crowns / Caps Gallery

A dental crown is a lab fabricated tooth shaped "cap" that is placed over a "crown prepared" tooth to restore it's shape, size, strength and/or improve it's appearance. A crown is generally recommended when a majority of the natural tooth structure is lost due to the removal of dental decay or trauma. When permanently cemented into place it fully covers over the visible portion of a tooth at or just below or above the gumline.
